Several of my male cats had this over the years. If I remember correctly the type of litter can make a difference too. Something about the dust produced. Try mixing the wet food with the dry to help cut the cost of food. Also it will keep his teeth cleaner than if he just ate canned food. He is still young and yes chances of relapse maybe good but our one male was very healthy for well over a decade after his first bout.</description>
